About Nora
I am Nora Bennett, a chemistry tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and over 4 years of experience teaching high school and college students! I am passionate about helping students develop a deep understanding of chemistry, one of the most important scientific disciplines.
My teaching method involves step-by-step guidance, hands-on exercises, and a strong emphasis on practical applications. I have worked with students on topics ranging from organic reactions to biochemical pathways, helping them excel in both coursework and lab work. Many of my students have gone on to pursue careers in medicine, chemical engineering, and pharmacology, and I am proud to have been a part of their educational journey.
I am dedicated to creating an engaging, supportive, and interactive learning environment that helps students achieve both conceptual clarity and practical expertise in chemistry.

In my one-to-one chemistry lessons, I help students navigate the complexities of chemistry by focusing on both fundamental principles and advanced topics. Whether it’s organic chemistry, biochemistry, electrochemistry, or chemical reactions, I provide clear explanations and interactive lessons that help students connect theory with real-life applications. We begin with a review of basic chemical concepts and then progress to more advanced topics such as reaction mechanisms, stoichiometry, and chemical kinetics.
Throughout our lessons, I emphasize the importance of hands-on learning. Students get the opportunity to work through real-world examples and problem-solving exercises, which allow them to better understand the chemical principles that govern the natural world. I also help students prepare for exams, lab work, and research projects, focusing on chemistry calculations, chemical safety, and lab techniques.
