About Ali
I know firsthand how tough computer science can be at times. As a passionate and reliable tutor, I hope to change that and make the journey fun as well :) I am committed to helping students achieve their goals by actively listening to my students and then providing tailored guidance. With me as your tutor, I encourage an atmosphere of asking questions in the hopes of growing your confidence and skills in this field.

Using the python programming language, but open to using other languages.
While I leave it up to the student's discretion on what to teach, I strive to develop problem-solving skills. Taking inspiration from the interview questions used at top companies like Google, Amazon, and Uber, I teach not only the solution but how to break down the problem and best communicate it like an actual interview.
Graduated with High Distinction from the Computer Science program at the University of Toronto. My work experience has been the following: research lab, entrepreneurship, drones, 2 startups that focused on front-end and back-end development, autonomous vehicles, and iOS and Android mobile development at Sun Life and the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
I teach computer science lessons to anyone in high school (beginner or intermediate) and anyone in their first or second year of university.
Other programming languages I have experience with are Swift, C, TypeScript, and Java.
