About Alarna
I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (BNutrDiet) who has been working in private practice and public health since 2015. I have experience in a wide variety of areas, such as chronic disease management, IBS management, bariatric surgery, and paediatric nutrition. I have been expanding my skills in Motivational Interviewing and the Non-Diet approach to nutrition to further enhance my practice to a rapidly changing diet industry and culture.

I am happy to do face to face or Skype based sessions based on what you need assistance with. When I graduate, I felt I did not have the "real world" knowledge to be able to interact with patients coming from such a clinically driven background and hope to change that for others. If you are able to provide an outline of what you are aiming to achieve or want to know, I am happy to set an agenda for our appointments to cater to what you are after. I am also really enthusiastic to do role playing situations to help you be prepared appropriately for a clinical environment.

For more than 15km traveller, there will be a $10 travel fee incurred.
If you are unavailable for sessions, it would be appreciated to have at least 24 hours notice.
I work near Brisbane city 4 days per week, near QUT Gardens Point Campus and UQ, so I am happy to meet you at either location to study. Parking costs may be incurred as part of our sessions.
