About Sabina
Hi! I’m Sab —a development and production professional at a leading film studio, and a graduate of the USC Peter Stark Producing MFA Program. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked across film festivals, international production companies, and now in the heart of studio development. I’ve read and developed hundreds of scripts, and I bring that hands-on industry experience into every lesson. My goal is to demystify the screenwriting process and empower you with tools that are both creatively fulfilling and professionally relevant. I’m here to help you strengthen your storytelling instincts, understand what makes a screenplay stand out, and build a writing practice that feels exciting—not overwhelming. Whether you're writing your first short, prepping a script for a lab, or just looking to sharpen your voice, I’ll meet you where you are—with respect, encouragement, and real-world insight.

As a development and production professional at a major film studio and a graduate of the USC Peter Stark MFA Program, I bring both creative care and real industry insight to every session. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you grow—with clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to your voice.
My Teaching Method:
I approach screenwriting as both craft and career. My method is collaborative, flexible, and rooted in helping you tell the story only you can tell—while also giving you tools that are used every day in professional development settings. We’ll work to sharpen your narrative instincts, strengthen your pages, and build habits that support long-term growth.
A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
-A brief check-in on goals and creative blocks
-Discussion of material (pages submitted in advance or writing done in-session)
-With your story in mind, we’ll go through narrative foundations: character, structure, and theme
-Development-style notes with an emphasis on clarity, tone, and intention
-Practical tips on next steps to keep your momentum going

I understand how stories move from early drafts to real opportunities—and I bring that knowledge into our sessions.
