About Courtney
My name is Courtney. I am a BA arts and humanities graduate, where I specialised in Afrikaans, Psychology and Language & Communication. I am currently doing my PGCE in senior and FET phase. My specialisations are Afrikaans HL FET phase and Life Orientation Senior phase. Professionalism and respect for time is very important to me. I am a vibrant personality and I approach everything with excitement and optimism. I believe that failure is apart of success and therefore we should never be too hard on ourselves as long as we work hard and do our best.

My lessons focuses on the key areas in Afrikaans HL/FAL with which my students struggle. I start my lessons with teaching the basics of Afrikaans HL/FAL. Then I find out what the struggling areas are for my students by asking them specific questions. I provide them with additional resources and activities that will help them achieve their desired success in Afrikaans HL/FAL. My lessons are aimed at students who struggle with comprehension, language and more. I also offer my students study tips, motivation and goal setting.
