About Kris
I am a Varsity-Level (highest-level) high school Violin and Viola player! I've been playing for five years and often help beginners in my orchestra by offering tutoring on the skills they need. Whether it's tuning, shifting, sight-reading, or guiding you to fix a string, I can do it! I have a flexible work schedule and am happily willing to adjust to your schedule just in case anything needs to be changed. I'm an honest teacher and will not sugarcoat anything, I also never force unwanted pressure, if you're tired that's fine, we can practice another day!

I first start with fundamentals, progress to more complex skills, and personalize lessons to the student's goals!
A typical lesson plan starts with a test! A test to see how they've improved since the last lesson and what needs to be worked on. Then after working on defining and tuning certain needs, we make a goal sheet! To see where we would like to be for the next lesson. I work with the students to make sure they comprehend what they've learned. These lessons are for beginners and young intermediate players. (And those that just need a stand partner )
