About Edie
I really enjoy tutoring and find it very rewarding seeing the difference in the confidence of students. I am passionate about education and loved studying English, particularly in VCE Language. I also love forming individual connections with people which informs how I go about tutoring. I have strong communication skills and value patience and compassion in teaching others.

I am able to shape sessions to the needs of the individual student. For English Language, I am able to help students navigate essay writing and the structure of analytical commentaries when it comes to year 12 as this can be an adjustment from previous english writing. I can also give advice on preparation for SACs helping clarify areas of the study design including grammatical concepts.
For regular english, I can again help with writing structure and clarity especially essay writing and argument analysis on high school english. For primary english, I can help with understanding grammar and how to begin thinking about structured writing. Again, I am more than happy to shape sessions to the specific student.
