About Patrina
I graduated from high school in 2025 with an ATAR of 96.90 and was awarded DUX of English and Visual Communication Design, achieving study scores of 45 and 44, respectively. I have a clear grasp of what examiners look for in high-scoring VCE English responses, particularly in crafting well-structured essays.
As a tutor, I am committed to helping students build both their skills and confidence. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves to improve.

Hi! My name is Patrina, and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Design at the University of Melbourne. I offer VCE English tutoring for students of all ability levels, with lessons available both online and in person across Melbourne’s northern suburbs (including Northcote, Preston, Reservoir, Brunswick, and Coburg).
My approach to tutoring is structured yet flexible, tailored to suit each student’s individual needs, preferences, and learning styles. I like to focus on building strong foundations in essay writing, including planning, structuring arguments, and developing insightful analysis. I incorporate a mix of writing practice and exercises in lessons to help students consolidate their skills and apply them with confidence.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though I’m happy to adjust the length depending on what works best for the student.
