About Tighe
I'm a current university student, studying at Deakin University in Melbourne for a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), majoring in mechanical engineering. I completed VCE in 2024, excelling in Mathematical Methods, Chemistry and Business Management. I grew up in rural Victoria where tutors were recommended to accelerate our learning to make up for the lesser resources compared to cities in Victoria. So my experience being tutored and helping classmates has made me a great teacher who can help students understand what they're learning, now I want to help students achieve the best in their VCE studies. If you come with plenty of questions and classwork, we'll go through it together to help you get full marks and a better understanding of the study area.

Hi, I'm a logical learner, so I'll use more logical approaches to solving problems than complex and long formulas. I'll help you with the work you're struggling with, guiding you towards understanding how to approach it and helping you gain a deeper knowledge of the concepts.
I've just finished VCE and I have been tutored which majorly helped me gain a better knowledge of Math Methods, and now will help me successfully tutor you in your area of study.
My tutoring is for any math students in levels below year 10, then VCE mathematical methods from year 10-12, and chemistry in year 10-12. I'm patient and can relate to struggling at this level of learning so I'll go at the pace required to ensure you don't just know the answer, but understand how to get it next time, to ensure success in the subject in the future.
I've also gone through work experience at a primary school (St. Marys Catholic Primary School Echuca), where I would operate one on one sessions with students helping them with their math homework.
