About Rosa
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 6 years of professional teaching experience, having guided approximately 150 students successfully. I specialise in teaching all levels and focus on building strong technical foundations along with musical creativity. My lessons emphasise correct posture, breath support, embouchure control, articulation clarity, and finger coordination.
Once students develop these essentials, I gradually introduce advanced techniques and expressive playing styles. I adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles, ensuring that every student feels comfortable and understood. My classes are interactive, engaging, and result-oriented. I provide continuous feedback and structured exercises that lead to steady improvement.
One of my strongest qualities is maintaining patience while encouraging high standards of practice and discipline. I aim to help students not only play the flute accurately but also express themselves confidently and musically in every performance.

My approach to teaching flute focuses on building strong basics and ensuring steady progress. I adapt my methods according to the student’s learning preference, whether they understand better through demonstration, explanation, or repeated practice.
Lessons start with breathing exercises and tone development, followed by finger coordination drills and rhythm practice. I emphasise accuracy, smooth transitions, and consistent sound quality. As students progress, I introduce expressive techniques such as dynamics and phrasing.
Along with flute training, I teach music theory fundamentals, sight-reading skills, scale structures, and ear development. This complete approach helps students become well-rounded musicians.
Flexibility is key in my teaching. I adjust the speed and difficulty of lessons according to each student’s progress. Collaboration is encouraged through feedback discussions and goal planning. I create a positive environment where students feel confident to learn and improve. My goal is to help students achieve both technical excellence and musical confidence.
