About Selena

My interest in guitar started with a love for music and performance. I pursued this passion by completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, where I developed strong technical and expressive skills. Over the past 9 years, I have helped students learn guitar in a clear and enjoyable way.

I believe that learning guitar should be simple and motivating. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patience, and regular practice. I create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace. I also adapt my lessons based on each student’s needs and goals.

I continue to explore new music styles and techniques to keep my teaching fresh. Teaching guitar is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and skill. I aim to help every learner build strong playing ability, improve their musical understanding, and develop a lasting enjoyment of guitar that supports both creativity and confidence.

About the lesson

Learning guitar becomes easier when students understand how rhythm and movement work together. In my lessons, I begin with basic chords, simple strumming patterns, and finger exercises. I explain each concept clearly so students can follow without difficulty. This helps build confidence from the beginning and allows learners to enjoy playing early in their journey. The learning environment is friendly and supportive.

As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as chord transitions, scales, and melody playing. I guide them step by step so they can improve their accuracy and timing. Practice is an important part of my lessons, and I provide structured exercises to help students build consistency. I also give feedback to help them correct mistakes and improve steadily.

My goal is to help students feel confident playing guitar and expressing themselves through music. Over time, they develop better coordination, stronger rhythm skills, and greater confidence. This makes learning more enjoyable and meaningful. I support learners in building strong foundations, improving their playing technique, and developing the confidence to perform and enjoy guitar in both personal and group settings.
