About Henry
With more than 8 years of experience as a piano tutor, I have taught students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I am dedicated to making piano learning easy and engaging. My teaching style is based on flexibility, communication, and practical learning. I customise my lessons according to each student’s needs and pace, ensuring they understand each concept clearly.
I teach piano along with music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to build strong musical skills. I also include song-based learning to keep lessons interesting. My unique skill is breaking down difficult topics into simple steps so students can learn without confusion.
I help students improve their technique, confidence, and consistency, and guide them in maintaining effective practice routines. I create a friendly and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged. My goal is to help students enjoy learning piano and achieve their musical goals.

My teaching methodology emphasises creative, motivating, and personalised learning. Through open communication, I understand each student’s goals, learning style, and challenges, allowing me to design lessons that are tailored, meaningful, and effective.
Creativity is central to my teaching. I encourage students to improvise, compose, and explore various musical styles, fostering originality and artistic expression. Flexibility ensures that lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, creating a supportive and productive learning environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated approach develops technical proficiency, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to help students become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music.
