About Attika

I am working as a scientist/researcher at University of Otago ((concealed information) I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students to succeed. I have been enjoying teaching different courses to different levels of students for the past ten years. I have been tutoring high school and the Bachelor of Science students. My lectures are engaging, inspiring, and fun for students.

About the lesson

I have a PhD and Master's degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. I have been teaching different courses to different levels of students for the past ten years. I have been tutoring 5th-grade to high school and the Bachelor of Science students. My lectures are engaging, inspiring, and fun for students. My lessons are specially tailored for one-on-one lectures based on the student's needs. I keep my lectures brief, clear, and concise and allow time for questions. I also design separate lectures where students can get help in understanding particular topics that they haven't fully grasped in school. I always use visual cues to help students understand the basic concepts. I sometimes use handwritten notes that help students to strengthen their writing skills. In addition, I prepare students for exams and class tests. Typically my lectures are for 45 minutes, then I give a 10-minute break which is followed by 15 to 20 minutes of discussion and a question-answer session.
