Wow! Having Jean-Philippe as a guitar teacher was one of the smartest things I've done! I am learning to play acoustic and electric, while he plays both, as well as bass.

The best part about learning from him is that he teaches you the basics, then you have a visual example with a song. For example, I learned how to do a muffle strumming exercise with "Eye of the Tiger." Then, I learned how to "hammer on" and "pull off" by playing "Pink Panther."

Jean-Philippe also asks you what songs you want to play and he teaches you that, while showing you how to add improvisations. He also created tab sheets for each lesson and sends them to you, along with a recording of him playing the song.

Jean-Philippe was never impatient or rude; always patient and encouraging! Not to mention, his price is very reasonable and he is able to adapt to your schedule.

I would highly recommend Jean-Philippe as I continue to go to him for lessons as I type.
