About Scott
A former advanced diploma student, studying Digital & Interactive Game Development. 5 years of development experience, working with a variety of languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, C++, Python, , Lua, HTML, CSS, PHP, CG, as well as working with data formats such as JSON, XML and SQL and utilising the Unity Engine as well as having some experience in the Unreal Engine. 3 years professional experience working as a freelance contractor on a variety of projects.

Each student has different requirements and different levels of understanding, as such creating cookie cutter tutorials are not a viable approach to getting the best out of a student. Instead I opt to tailor lessons to the individual student in a way that is intuitive and relevant to them.
I also believe the student should have something to show for there effort, something to be proud of achieving. Lessons should lead to a practical outcome creating projects that are personal to the student.
Aimed for beginners and intermediate learners primarily, though advanced learners will still find a lot of helpful advice and will benefit from discussion, analysis and review.
Students can expect to learn:
-Programming languages, primarily C#. Students will gain a strong understanding of common practices, patterns and methods.
-Game engines, primarily Unity. Students will learn how to utilise the editor and the Unity API.
-Game development practice. Students will learn techniques and skills used in the industry.
-Specialised topics. Students will learn varies specialised topics such as AI, physics, applied mathematics, graphics and shaders, networking, Android & iOS development and more.
