About Rafa
My goal is to introduce and inspire people to find in yoga the tools to connect their mind, body and soul. I started my yoga journey over five years ago to challenge myself to learn a new skill and overcome an injury. The journey started in the USA where I mainly trained online and fell in love with the practice and how it improved my mental health and also body mobility. It was rewarding to see the transformation in achieving certain inversion poses I never believed I would be able to. Earlier in 2023 I started an inward journey and joined a Yoga Alliance 200hr teacher training programme. During the year I’ve been learning not only teaching skills and poses but also to empower yogis at all levels to feel present and challenge their mindset - you can achieve anything you want when you put your mind to it.

Classes will be tailored to yogi goals but typically our vinyasa flow will challenge you to use breathing techniques to move through the poses. We will be working on meditation techniques and also building strength, balance and improve flexibility. I’ll break down poses and use hands-on adjustment to support body alignment. We will also be working on energy connection with your chakras to improve general well-being. A typical one-hour class includes: *Breathing exercise *Meditation - gratitude and intention setting *Warm up *Flow - postures and sequence *Savasana and relaxation
