About Sergio
I have been privately teaching students Violin and Viola since 2014, and have adapted my teaching to both Australian and UK syllabuses. I have achieved all AMEB grades in performance in Australia on the Viola and have professional positions in the Melbourne and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras. In July 2021, I recently completed my Masters degree at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Jonathan Barritt and have since returned home to Australia to continue my teaching and freelancing work.

I am very flexible in my teaching methods and can teach any student of any age or range of skill. I can teach from AMEB Exam Syllabuses and can focus on individual student needs. I have taught over 40 students and have earned over 25 A/Distinctions in performance exams. I run to schedules of 30, or 60 minute lessons, with fun activities and collaborative exercises included to ensure the most enjoyable and enriching learning experience.

Groups of multiple students negotiable
Cancellation must be advised 24 hrs in advance, or fees will still be paid. For students above ABRSM Grade 5 equivalent, hourly rates increase to £45/hr.
