About Raquel

Professional Violinist, member of the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra since 18 years ago.
I usually have a maximum and a limited number of students, which now -on the occasion of the mandatory confinement by Covid-19- I will expand, due to the absolute stop to which my Orchestra has been submitted.

I have extensive experience teaching violin at all levels, especially intermediate, advanced, and professional. Although I also enjoy teaching beginners.

Several of my students are now studying abroad, having made incredible progress in their violin studies as a result of their classes with me. They and their parents are always very satisfied with the evolution and motivation that their children show regarding our lessons.

For me, the satisfaction of teaching to play the violin, not only lies in the advancement to the technical level that the lessons provoke, but also in the fact of being able to instill a true love of art and music that will affect very positively in all areas of his life, from the beginning and forever.

About the lesson

The basis of any teaching is first to see where the student is and move on from there to show him/her the next steps along the way.

As a former student of Pauline Scott (who was a direct student of Ivan Galamian), I maintain all her teachings at the pedagogical level, always obtaining very good results.

Also for beginners, I have always made great progress with Doflein Method.

Perfect! Llevo 2 clases con Raquel y han sido muy buenas. Me ha ayudado muchísimo guiándome con el repertorio que tengo que estudiar para el conservatorio. Se nota que es una profesora muy experimentada y gran músico, da consejos claros y certeros. Han sido clases bastante agradables, las que me han dado harto que seguir estudiando con ella. Me alegra haberla encontrado.

Perfect! Llevo 2 clases con Raquel y han sido muy buenas. Me ha ayudado muchísimo guiándome con el repertorio que tengo que estudiar para el conservatorio.
