About Rina

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Violin Performance and 3 years of teaching experience. My musical journey began through years of violin study and performance opportunities that deepened my appreciation for the instrument. Teaching allows me to share that passion while helping students achieve their musical goals.

My teaching philosophy focuses on encouragement, patience, and practical skill development. Every learner has unique strengths, so I adapt lessons to fit individual needs and aspirations. Through guided practice, technical instruction, and performance coaching, I help students build confidence while improving their abilities. Supporting steady growth is a central part of my approach.

Outside tutoring, I enjoy participating in ensemble performances, studying violin repertoire, and continuing my own musical development. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching violin is fulfilling because I get to witness students achieve milestones through dedication and practice. Their success motivates me to continue growing as an educator.

About the lesson

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and musical expression. We work on posture, bowing technique, intonation, rhythm accuracy, tone production, scales, sight-reading, and performance preparation through structured exercises and practical learning. I explain techniques clearly so students understand how each skill contributes to better playing. This helps create confidence and consistent improvement.

Lessons are personalized according to the learner’s goals and current ability. Beginners focus on instrument setup, coordination, and simple melodies that establish good habits. Intermediate students strengthen tone quality, technical control, and musical interpretation. Advanced learners refine performance skills and explore more challenging repertoire. Regular feedback supports continuous progress and skill development.

I believe violin learning should feel motivating and enjoyable. My lessons provide a supportive environment where students can develop at their own pace while remaining challenged. As learners improve, they gain greater confidence in their musical abilities. My goal is to help students enjoy both the process and the rewards of learning the violin.
