About Hadley
With over 8 years of teaching experience and an Associate of Music in String Performance, I specialize in folk violin traditions. My focus includes Norwegian Fiddle, Swedish Fiddle, and Klezmer. Lessons emphasize ear-based learning, ornamentation, and rhythmic bowing patterns.
I use folk jam tracks, drone tuners, and repertoire-based instruction to make learning immersive and practical. Students develop tone, rhythm, and stylistic expression while exploring traditional repertoire. My approach balances technical exercises with real musical context.
