About Lara
I am a violin tutor with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. Music has been part of my life since childhood, and teaching allows me to share that passion with students from different backgrounds and experience levels.
I believe every learner deserves patient guidance and positive encouragement. My teaching style combines structured learning with supportive coaching, helping students overcome challenges while developing confidence and musical independence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, studying classical compositions, and attending live concerts. These experiences continue to inspire my lessons and allow me to bring practical musical knowledge into every class.

My violin lessons focus on building confidence through clear guidance and enjoyable practice. We begin with posture, bow grip, finger placement, rhythm exercises, and tone production so students develop a strong foundation from the start. Every technique is demonstrated carefully and explained in simple English, making it easy to understand each movement. I encourage learners to stay patient, celebrate small improvements, and enjoy the learning process while steadily building their musical skills.
As students progress, we explore scales, shifting, vibrato, bow control, articulation, sight reading, ear training, and musical interpretation. Lessons also include duet practice, performance preparation, and exercises that improve coordination and expression. Each learning plan is adjusted to suit the student's pace and goals, allowing steady progress without unnecessary pressure.
My aim is to help every learner become a confident violinist who enjoys both technical growth and artistic expression. Every lesson strengthens musical understanding while encouraging creativity, discipline, and lifelong enjoyment of playing the violin.
