About Karen
Clarity makes the process of mastering violin techniques quite satisfying. You will find that my approach centers on music theory, intonation, and bowing technique including spiccato and staccato.
We utilize scales and arpeggios to build a solid foundation. My background as a performer informs how I guide you through classical repertoire.
One key benefit of our time together is the recorded playback of tricky passages for your home practice. This enables you to review complex fingerings and bow strokes whenever you need. Tuning by ear is also a central component of our regular work.
I maintain a disciplined yet encouraging atmosphere during our sessions. Let us explore your potential together with patience and care.
