About Noreen
Music education should feel less like a chore and more like an athletic pursuit of precision. Most beginners assume that intonation is a talent one is born with, yet it is entirely a technical skill.
Having taught 300 students over 13 years, I understand the mechanics of ear training and classical repertoire. My background at the Australian National Academy of Music informs how I approach double stops, tuning by ear, and bowing technique. I find that once the mechanics click, the joy of playing naturally increases, so I keep the focus on steady improvement.

My 13 years of performance experience mean I can quickly diagnose where your bowing technique falters during a piece. I offer a free trial lesson to gauge your starting level, which allows me to see exactly where we need to focus our efforts.
