About Juanita
Since you are here to improve, we should start by examining your current approach to rhythm and timing. Shifting positions and left hand agility require a level of discipline that many overlook in their early practice sessions.
I will guide you through scales and arpeggios to build a rock solid technical base. We will refine your vibrato and tuning by ear to ensure your sound remains consistent throughout complex pieces.
Sight reading is a vital part of our routine to keep your mind sharp. I provide a monthly progress report shared with parents to ensure we stay on track for your ABRSM or Trinity exams. These documents highlight your wins and identify areas needing more focus. I look forward to seeing your growth over the coming months.

Adults and children often assume that speed is the primary obstacle to playing the violin. In reality, the foundation of excellence is found in static stillness and deliberate movement.
I draw upon 13 years of performance experience to correct inefficient habits early. My training at The Glenn Gould School informs every correction I provide. I enjoy watching students transition from shaky beginners to confident players. Classical and folk music have shaped my ear for 13 years.
