About Carol
"My violin lessons focus on building a strong musical foundation while keeping the process enjoyable. We spend time developing classical repertoire alongside building essential ensemble skills so you can comfortably play with others. Rhythm precision is a major goal in my studio because good timing is the heartbeat of great string playing. We also dive into creative improvisation to help you break free from the sheet music and express yourself truly.
I enjoy working with professionals who use their voices for a living, helping them connect physical posture to vocal resonance. My method is also perfect for adult beginners who want to build their self-esteem through mastering a difficult instrument. I once taught a graphic designer who was nervous about playing but ended up performing a solo at a community gathering. We use daily goal setting and ear training to ensure you see steady progress every week.
We also work on bow control and finger placement to make sure your tone is always clean and bright. You will learn to read music quickly and understand the basic theory behind every melody you play. I make sure to explain things in simple terms without using confusing jargon. Let us work together to unlock your full potential on the violin."
