About Lyra

I completed a Master’s Degree in Classical String Performance after years of studying orchestral repertoire, solo performance, and advanced violin technique during my academic training. During the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different musical backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve through supportive and personalized lessons. Teaching violin allows me to combine technical instruction with creativity and emotional encouragement in a meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners discover confidence through music and expressive performance.

My teaching style focuses on patience, careful listening, and balanced technical growth. Some students benefit from calm repetition and confidence-building support, while others improve more naturally through challenging repertoire and creative interpretation. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, goals, and musical interests. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen musical memory, rhythm awareness, expressive phrasing, and performance preparation. Creating a supportive and welcoming learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing violin, studying different interpretations of classical works, and exploring performance techniques that keep my musical understanding growing. Music remains an important source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more confident and comfortable with their instrument over time. Helping learners reconnect with music while developing strong violin skills continues to inspire me greatly.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students build confidence while developing strong technical and musical skills through calm and organized guidance. I teach bow control, tone production, posture, rhythm accuracy, and intonation using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include slow scale practice, ear training, open string warm-ups, shifting exercises, and musical interpretation activities that strengthen coordination and expressive playing naturally over time. I create a reassuring learning environment where students can improve steadily without feeling pressured or discouraged. Every lesson balances technical development with creativity and personal musical growth.

Beginners receive patient guidance with hand positioning, bow movement, note reading, and listening awareness through structured step-by-step exercises. Intermediate learners improve phrasing, tone consistency, rhythm control, and smoother transitions between techniques through organized musical studies and performance preparation. Advanced students focus on expressive interpretation, dynamic balance, advanced bowing techniques, and stronger stage confidence through detailed repertoire coaching. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, learning pace, and musical goals so progress remains motivating and balanced throughout the process.

Learning violin should feel rewarding and emotionally meaningful. I encourage students to focus on steady growth and consistency instead of perfection because confidence develops naturally through support and practice. Many learners become more expressive and comfortable with performance as their musical abilities continue improving. My goal is to help students enjoy the process of learning while building lasting violin skills and artistic confidence. Every lesson supports creativity, discipline, and long-term musical development.
