About Ella

I hold a Bachelor of Music in String Performance and a Master of Music in Violin Education. During the past 8 years, I have worked with students of different ages and experience levels, helping them develop technique, confidence, and musical understanding. My love for the violin began through years of study, ensemble performance, and personal exploration of the instrument’s expressive possibilities. Teaching became a natural path because I enjoy helping others experience the rewards of musical growth. Supporting students continues to be one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.

My teaching approach is based on patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so lessons are tailored to individual goals and learning styles. Technical skills are always connected to musical expression so that learning remains meaningful and enjoyable. Students receive personalized guidance that supports both improvement and confidence. This creates a positive environment where growth feels achievable.

Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, score study, and exploring violin repertoire from different musical periods. These interests help me bring variety and inspiration into lessons. Watching students overcome challenges and achieve personal goals is deeply rewarding. I strive to make every lesson supportive and motivating. My goal is to help learners build lasting confidence and enjoyment through music.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop reliable skills while enjoying a calm and encouraging learning experience. I focus on posture alignment, bow control, intonation accuracy, tone production, rhythmic stability, and expressive phrasing through carefully guided instruction. Every lesson is structured to make progress feel manageable and rewarding. Students learn not only how to perform techniques correctly but also how those techniques contribute to musical expression. This creates a stronger connection between technical development and artistic growth.

For learners returning to violin after a break, I provide patient guidance that helps rebuild confidence step by step. Lessons may include open-string warm-ups, slow scale practice, tone rebuilding exercises, ear-training activities, and confidence-focused repertoire. Students who experience nervousness or self-doubt receive practical support through performance preparation techniques and positive practice strategies. Every activity is designed to promote steady improvement without unnecessary pressure. This allows learners to regain momentum while enjoying the process.

My goal is to help students feel comfortable and capable every time they play. As confidence grows, learners become more willing to explore new challenges and musical opportunities. Lessons encourage patience, consistency, and self-belief. Every success contributes to stronger musicianship and personal growth. I want students to feel proud of their progress and excited about their future with the violin.
