About Joanna
I am a violin tutor with 11 years of experience and a Master of Music in Violin Pedagogy. I enjoy helping students transform steady practice into confident and expressive performances through patient instruction.
My lessons combine technical development with musical creativity in a supportive learning environment. I encourage students to enjoy the learning process while building discipline and confidence at every stage.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music performances, arranging violin pieces, and exploring traditional string music from different cultures. These experiences help me create engaging and meaningful lessons.

My violin lessons are designed to help students build strong foundations while enjoying every stage of learning. We practice posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, scales, tone development, shifting, and expressive phrasing through structured exercises and enjoyable musical pieces. Every lesson supports confidence through consistent improvement.
As students continue developing, we explore vibrato, sight reading, ensemble performance, musical interpretation, performance preparation, ear training, and effective practice routines. I provide supportive guidance that helps learners overcome challenges while strengthening both technique and artistic expression.
My goal is to help students become confident violinists who perform with accuracy, emotion, and musical understanding. Every lesson builds lasting skills that support continuous growth and enjoyable performances.
