About Yaowan
I have over 10 years of teaching experience, during which I have worked with students of various ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach both one-on-one and in group settings, tailoring my approach to meet the individual needs of each student. I have taught in diverse settings, including private lessons, music schools, and educational institutions, where I focused on building a solid technical foundation and fostering musical expression. My teaching method combines elements from the Suzuki and Orff pedagogies, allowing students to develop their listening skills, rhythmic abilities, and creativity while building strong violin techniques. In addition to regular lessons, I have been involved in preparing students for music competitions, exams, and performances, guiding them through both technical and interpretative challenges. I take great pride in seeing my students grow in their musical abilities and confidence, and I always strive to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

I offer lessons in English and Mandarin, and I'm excited to work with students of all levels to reach their musical goals.
