About Ella
I hold a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and have 8 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced performers. My teaching philosophy balances technical skill development with artistic exploration, fostering an encouraging and motivating environment. I aim to help students build solid foundations while inspiring creativity and expressive confidence in their playing.
I structure lessons according to the student’s abilities and goals. Beginners focus on posture, tone, and simple pieces; intermediate learners refine technique, phrasing, and musical interpretation; advanced students tackle challenging repertoire, improvisation, and performance readiness. Every lesson includes exercises, repertoire practice, and feedback to ensure meaningful growth.
Outside of teaching, I perform regularly, study repertoire extensively, and explore new pedagogical approaches to keep lessons fresh and inspiring. Helping students develop skill, confidence, and a love for music remains the most rewarding part of my career.

My violin lessons are designed to nurture technical mastery and artistic expression in every student. Lessons focus on bowing technique, finger placement, intonation, tone production, phrasing, and expressive interpretation. I incorporate exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and listening activities to help students develop both skill and musicality. Each session emphasizes creating a supportive environment where learners feel confident exploring their instrument while refining their technique and expressive ability.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s experience. Beginners work on posture, bowing fundamentals, basic finger exercises, and simple pieces to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners develop phrasing, vibrato, intonation accuracy, and interpretive skill. Advanced students focus on complex repertoire, advanced bowing techniques, solo performance preparation, and expressive interpretation. Guided practice, constructive feedback, and interactive exercises are used in every lesson to ensure steady growth and improvement.
The ultimate goal of my violin lessons is to help students perform with both technical accuracy and expressive artistry. Lessons foster confidence, creativity, and a strong musical foundation. Students learn to communicate emotion and musical ideas through their playing while enjoying the process of learning and exploring the violin.
