About Cam
I have a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Education. I have worked for over 10 years as an Art teacher and did post study in photography, desktop publishing and Graphic Design. I ran a design business for over 15 years (Solace Design) which focussed on illustration, painting and design specifically.
I currently run Painting workshops for large and small groups, so I have the necessary teaching skills to accomodate all levels. Ideally, my one on one lessons, will be online, as there are no restrictions in travel. Before a set of lessons, I would advise what materials and setup required and then conduct the first lesson free. This first lesson would be an introduction to tecnnique and the materials required, also specifically what the student would like to learn.

My teaching methodology is based on layering techniques, colour theory and sensitive composition. I guide students on how to create a painting based on a chosen design/theme/photograph teach them to accurately 'build' the painting through a step by step process.
