About Shubham
After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from VIT Pune, I cracked the MBA CET with a 98.26 percentile, which got me into the MSc Finance program at JBIMS. My background gives me a strong grip on analytical and financial concepts, which really came in handy when I decided to take on the UPSC Civil Services challenge. I just appeared for the 2026 UPSC Prelims, and despite it being widely called the toughest exam so far with an incredibly brutal CSAT paper, I managed to score 86 marks in CSAT. Clearing that difficult hurdle gives me a solid safety margin well above the qualifying cutoff.

To master a new concept, a student must move beyond passive observation and actively solve the problem themselves. Whether introducing Arithmetic or basic algebra, the brain only retains formulas when it applies them to solve a tangible equation. This is why rote memorization fails while problem-based learning succeeds; by forcing the brain to derive a solution, you build logical pathways that turn abstract variables into concrete tools. Never let your students fear the friction of a difficult proof. That struggle is just the cognitive labor required to expand their analytical boundaries and turn raw data into mathematical fluency.
