About Charlotte
I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in Psychology. I know that some of the content can feel overwhelming at times, and I want to support students in breaking down complex ideas, understanding how to structure their answers, and developing strong exam techniques. My goal is not just to help you memorize content, but to help you understand it and apply it effectively in SACs and exams.
As a classroom teacher, I see firsthand the strategies that help students succeed. In tutoring sessions, I focus on:
- Explaining difficult concepts in clear and simple ways
- Helping students improve their exam and SAC responses
- Practicing VCAA-style questions
- Building confidence and effective study habits
Most importantly, I want tutoring to feel like a supportive space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve your understanding.

I am a passionate teacher currently teaching Psychology and Health and Physical Education at a secondary school in Melbourne. I graduated with a Bachelor of Health, Physical Education and Sport (Secondary), with a minor in Psychology, and I hold full Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
Through my teaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of the VCE Psychology Study Design, particularly Unit 1–2, and the key knowledge and skills required for students to succeed in assessment tasks and exams. I am experienced in supporting students to build their understanding of psychological concepts, apply content to real-world examples, and develop the analytical skills needed to answer higher-order questions.
In addition to classroom teaching, I offer tutoring for VCE Psychology students, where I focus on helping students strengthen their content knowledge, improve their exam technique, and develop confidence when responding to short-answer and extended-response questions. My tutoring approach emphasises clear explanations, structured note-taking, and practising exam-style questions aligned with the VCAA study design.
