About Isla
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Pedagogy and have 5 years of experience teaching students of various ages and levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes technical development, artistic expression, and building student confidence in a nurturing, motivating environment. I guide learners in discovering their vocal identity and developing the skills necessary to perform with emotion and precision.
Lessons are tailored to student abilities. Beginners focus on basic technique and simple repertoire; intermediate learners refine phrasing, vibrato, and interpretation; advanced students prepare for performances, auditions, and complex repertoire challenges.
Each lesson combines exercises, repertoire practice, and personalized guidance for steady progress. Outside teaching, I perform, explore diverse musical styles, and study new pedagogical techniques. Supporting students in becoming confident, expressive, and skilled vocalists remains the most rewarding aspect of my work.

My singing lessons focus on developing both technical proficiency and artistic expression. Students work on breath support, tone production, pitch accuracy, vibrato, phrasing, dynamics, and emotional interpretation. Lessons combine vocal exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and performance simulations to build confidence, versatility, and musical independence. I provide a supportive and patient environment where students can explore their voice, take creative risks, and develop their unique style.
Lessons are structured based on student level. Beginners focus on posture, breathing, pitch control, and basic repertoire. Intermediate learners refine vibrato, phrasing, interpretive skills, and tackle moderately challenging repertoire. Advanced students focus on performance readiness, stage presence, stylistic nuance, and complex repertoire. Every session incorporates structured exercises, personalized feedback, and performance opportunities to ensure steady growth and artistic development.
The goal of my singing lessons is to help students achieve technical mastery, expressive freedom, and confidence in performance. Learners develop vocal flexibility, musical understanding, and the ability to communicate emotions through their voice. Lessons balance structured practice with creative exploration, making learning fulfilling and enjoyable.
