About Aisha
A little bit about me: I am British but was educated in Australia at St. Hildas ASG and received a TEE (Tertiary Entrance Examination) score of 98.45 out of a possible 99.99. I then went on to study French at The University of Western Australia before attending LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) where I received my BA (Hons) in Acting in 2013. I have since worked in a variety of productions in both film and theatre, most recently in Netflix's 'The Witcher'. I have worked with creatives such as; Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hooper in ‘The Danish Girl’, John Hannah and Elinor Tomlinson in ‘Alleycats’, Danny Houston in The Last Photograph and director Saul Dibb on ‘La Suite Francaise’. Some of my theatre credits include; Juliet in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, Cissy Franks in ‘Punk Rock’ (Lyric Theatre Belfast), Nadia in ‘Some Explicit Polaroids’, Kitty in Anna Karenina (Arcola Theatre) and Ester in ‘Dry Land’ for which I was nominated for an OFFIE (Off West End Theatre Award).

Hello! My name is Aisha and I have been a vocal/public speaking coach for over three years. I have taught many students with a variety of backgrounds, professions and experiences. I have both short term and long term students, the longest of which have been with me for three years. I provide a tailored teaching approach to each student, depending on their level and what type of tutoring they wish to receive. Before starting lessons with a student, I will ask what previous experience they have and what it is they hope to gain from having lessons. There are many ways in which I can help you achieve your goal!

Perfect! Aisha is an outstanding pronunciation teacher, and I’m very grateful to have found her. Her lessons are among my favorites each week. She adapts to her students’ needs and approaches, while bringing a deep understanding of how the voice and body work together. She also has an excellent grasp of how English sounds are structured and uses many supportive tools to illustrate them clearly. What I especially value is that her exercises not only improved my pronunciation but also helped me in my vocal and singing lessons. I truly enjoy learning with her and feel very fortunate to have such a great teacher.

With Aisha's help I was able to improve upon an area of my speech with which I was not particularly happy. This in turn improved my confidence and enjoyment of speaking. She always created a relaxed and supportive environment in which to work and was able to tailor her approach to my specific needs and understanding.
