About Yara

I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy. During the past 9 years, I have worked with singers from a variety of backgrounds, helping them develop confidence, technique, and musical understanding. My passion for singing began through performance experiences and continued through advanced vocal study. Teaching allows me to combine artistic expression with meaningful mentorship. Supporting students on their vocal journeys remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes individuality, encouragement, and consistent growth. I believe every voice deserves personalized attention and thoughtful development. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s strengths, goals, and challenges while maintaining clear objectives for improvement. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them progress steadily and confidently. This approach creates a welcoming environment where learning feels rewarding.

Outside teaching, I enjoy studying vocal traditions, attending live performances, and exploring different styles of music. These experiences continually inspire my work and enrich my lessons. Watching students gain confidence and achieve meaningful goals is deeply rewarding. I strive to create lessons that are motivating, creative, and effective. My goal is to help learners develop voices that reflect both technical skill and authentic expression.

About the lesson

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop both technical control and personal expression in a supportive environment. Learners strengthen breath management, vocal placement, resonance, pitch accuracy, phrasing, and performance confidence through structured exercises and creative exploration. I encourage students to understand their voices as unique instruments with individual strengths and possibilities. Lessons combine practical vocal training with artistic development so that technique and expression grow together. This balanced approach helps students build lasting confidence.

Each student follows a personalized learning plan based on their goals and experience level. Activities may include vocal journaling, imagery exercises, interpretation work, breath awareness techniques, confidence-building performance practice, and vocal flexibility development. Learners who seek deeper emotional connection to music are encouraged to explore meaning and intention within songs. Students receive constructive guidance that supports progress while maintaining motivation. This creates a positive and encouraging learning experience.

My goal is to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves through singing. As technical skills improve, learners often discover greater confidence and artistic freedom. Lessons encourage self-awareness, creativity, and resilience. Every milestone contributes to stronger vocal ability and personal growth. I want students to leave each lesson feeling inspired and empowered.
