About Charles
I've been working in the vocal performance space for most of my career. During that time I have toured internationally as a performer in several styles, and as a sound engineer and production manager for vocal groups. I've taught and coached singers and ensembles of all ages, styles, and backgrounds. I'm also an accomplished beatboxer, if that's your focus, I can help you there, as well. I love helping singers improve and expand their techniques and experiences.

I've spent the last 25 years performing, coaching and teaching singing techniques to students around the country. I focus on comfortable production, proper breathing technique, and confident performance in real-world situations.
A typical lesson with me will include warmups, technique work, and repertoire work, which we will work together to choose.
What sets me apart is the variety of styles I'm experience in: I've sung and taught professionally in the following styles:

-Musical Theater
-Jazz
-Choral
-Opera
-Beatboxing
I have coached all levels, from elementary schoolers to professional touring singers. My lessons are for anyone who wants to improve as a singer, or wants to learn to enjoy and participate in any form of singing.
