About Duane
The sound of a perfectly placed note resonates deep in your chest. You want to feel that stability whenever you open your mouth to perform or record.
My 3 years of experience allow me to simplify the mechanics of singing for all my students. I have taught 262 singers how to find their own authentic resonance and tone.
My BM Music Production degree from Berklee College of Music informs how I teach microphone technique and articulation. You will learn to control your vibrato and sight singing with consistency.
Breathing control is the engine behind your vocal power, so we spend significant time there. Harmony singing becomes a second nature once you master the basics of placement. Everything I teach is designed to help you gain independence as a vocalist.
We will refine your diction and prepare for exams through careful, deliberate practice. I am available to support your progress whenever you are ready to start.

Many singers struggle with tension that locks their jaw and limits their range. You will find that my approach prioritizes the physical health of your voice above everything else. My 3 years of experience in the industry have taught me how to diagnose common vocal strain quickly. I provide free access to my breathing and warm up exercise notes to keep you consistent between sessions.
Using a microphone properly is an art form that complements your natural vocal talent. We will apply the same precision I learned at Berklee College of Music to your personal practice routine.
You can expect a calm environment where we analyze your technique through a craft first lens. Focusing on small adjustments creates the largest improvements in your sound over time. I look forward to hearing your voice.
