About Aubrey
As a singing teacher, I design my lessons around storytelling, emotional expression, and vocal character work to help each student bring their music to life. I believe that every voice holds a unique story, and my goal is to help you express it with clarity and confidence. Whether we’re exploring acting through song, refining dramatic timing, or building stage confidence, I shape every session to support your artistic growth. I work with singers of all learning speeds and performance backgrounds, from those who lead and blend within group settings to students preparing for advanced musical study. My approach is flexible and attentive, offering the right balance of structure and encouragement. Some students need deep emotional guidance through a song, while others need technical refinement for auditions, recitals, or ensemble work. Together, we’ll dive into phrasing, character intention, vocal colour, and expressive technique. I make sure each lesson feels personal, inspiring, and aligned with your musical goals. My aim is to help you strengthen your voice, deepen your artistry, and perform with confidence in any setting. I’m a singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I work closely with singer-songwriters who want to refine their craft and discover a clearer sense of artistic identity. Helping artists shape their sound is one of my greatest passions. In my sessions, we focus on vocal phrasing, lyric editing, harmony layering, and practical home studio recording tips to bring your ideas to life. I love exploring genres like Indie Folk, Electro-Pop, Acoustic Soul, and Lo-Fi, each offering its own space for emotional nuance and creative freedom. Every lesson is tailored to where you are in your songwriting journey. I guide you in understanding how your voice, words, and musical choices can work together to tell a meaningful story. We dive into how tone shapes emotion and how phrasing creates impact. I keep the process supportive, creative, and grounded in your personal style. Many of my students have turned rough concepts into fully realised songs, and watching that growth is incredibly rewarding. I’d love to help you do the same.
