My name is Claudette. I studied Teaching French as a foreigner language in Belgium where I am from and I am planning to study Spanish at University and hopefully when I graduate I will be able to teach it as well. I am passionate about languages and cultures. I had lots of opportunities to teach a wide range of students from children in Kindergarten to university students and corporate people wanting to become fluent in French. From absolutely novice to advanced students who need to practice to keep up to date with the language and students who need help to prepare for their exams. My lessons are fun and very educational. They are tailored to each student individual needs. Meetings are online or face to face around a cup of coffee or whatever drink you prefer as long as you ask in French Un café au lait s'il vous plaît. Un thé noir s'il vous plaît. Bonjour, Je voudrais un verre d'eau s'il vous plaît. That was your first lesson if you are a beginner. You are welcome to come to my place or choose a location where you feel comfortable to have your lesson as long as it is in Auckland. Your first lesson will be free for a trial. I studied teaching French to speakers of other languages. I have 20 years experience teaching students of all ages. From very beginners to very advanced. My method has an emphasis on speaking and phonetics to support pronunciations and listening to familiarise with different accents. The lesson is an hour long with a small passage of reading at the end based on what was learned that can be kept for practice until next lesson. For example a beginner will have a small monologue introducing themselves or a dialogue of 2 people getting to know each other.
