About Signe
My name is Signe, and I recently moved to the USA from Estonia. I grew up on a beautiful island called Hiiumaa. After that, I went to school in Haapsalu, and later moved to Tallinn to start my career. In Tallinn, I began working in customer service, then advanced to a team leader position, and eventually became an incident management specialist in a technology department. Teaching, supporting, and mentoring others feels natural to me because throughout my career, I have always enjoyed helping and guiding people. I’m excited to bring this passion to teaching Estonian and helping students succeed.

With my background as a mentor, team leader, and trainer—having guided and trained over 1,000 people through a structured onboarding program in a previous company—I know how to support different learning styles and goals. During the COVID period, I taught many different software tools online and personally mentored numerous new employees as they joined the company, helping them feel confident and capable in their new roles.
My Estonian lessons are always tailored to your level and needs. We’ll begin by assessing your current Estonian skills—something we’ll do together in our very first session. Based on that, I’ll create a personalized learning plan just for you.
Since Estonian is my native language, I can guide you with clear explanations, ongoing support, and practical advice. I offer a free first lesson so we can get to know each other and determine the best way to move forward based on your goals and experience.
