Warwick BSc Economics undergraduate teaches Mathematics Analysis and Approaches HL and Economics HL at IB level - Lessons take place online over Zoom or Microsoft Teams

Kaushik was one of my peers whilst I took the International Baccalaureate, and we took Higher Level maths together. The first time round, I was scored at a 5. However, I retook exams in November 2022, in which I was much more successful obtaining a grade of 7 (highest grade). I would recommend Kaushik simply because of his mentoring ability. Throughout summer, he helped me with my HL maths and was very patient- I was not able to understand complex concepts as quickly as he had, and he was able to simplify concepts to explain them to me which resulted in my understanding improving greatly, very quickly. Kaushik can also use both verbal and visual aids to improve understanding, specifically in Vectors and integration. Furthermore, Kaushik was very flexible when scheduling learning sessions, and was always reliable when meeting times were arranged.

Kaushik is a phenomenal tutor. He helped me with economics at IB level and has a unique style of teaching. You will always be paying attention to him and he will keep testing your ability to ensure you are on top of the subject. I highly recommend studying under Kaushik as it helped me easily improve my knowledge of IB economics.

Initially, I was struggling with maths HL and it wasn’t going well at all but then I met Kaushik who was outstanding with his methods and techniques making it easy to understand and learn!
