About Isobel
I am in my third year studying French and German at the University of Warwick, having just completed a year abroad teaching English at two sixth-form colleges in Strasbourg, France. Here I also offered private tuition in English as a foreign language. In the UK, I have worked for 5 years as a qualified dance teacher and so have experience teaching in both group and private settings for all ages.

I'm currently in my third year at the University of Warwick, studying French and German. As a third year student, I've just finished a 7 month placement in Strasbourg, France, working as an English teacher in two French lycées (students aged 15 and up), as well as a private tutor. Aside from language teaching, I've taught dance for 5 years, gaining a professional qualification with ISTD in 2015. Languages have always been my favourite subjects throughout school and I'm so passionate about the importance of language learning and being able to communicate effectively abroad. As a tutor, I will tailor lessons to the individual student's level and needs, combining a mixture of more serious academic exercises with fun games and activities. I strongly believe language learning should be an enjoyable process and that the skills learned should have a clear practical usage outside the classroom.
