About Inna

Welcome to my profile! I am an expert English teacher holding a valid Alberta teaching certificate issued by Alberta Education with 10 years of experience in teaching English. I have a Master's in Education (English language and literature) and a TESOL certificate proving that I am certified to teach international students.

Currently, I am teaching according to the provincial curriculum at a prestigious private international school and preparing the students for university.

Also, I teach ESL adult and kids groups at the learning centre as well as lead exam preparation classes.

Starting my teaching career, I worked with children from primary and secondary school and, later, I started to provide private lessons to adults. My topics of interest are academic writing, pronunciation correction, conversational English, business English, English for IT specialists, test preparation and reading lessons.

I explored every topic in-depth to make my explanation a lot easier for my learners, making the learning process quicker and simpler. I usually combine different activities to let every skill grow equally. I am delighted that I am able to help my students have dream work, confidence in English and potential for further growth. Years of practice helped me polish my courses to make them flawless and effective.

About the lesson

Hello there! If you are interested in learning English, you will certainly achieve your goal with my online courses.
Classes are via Zoom. You will have Google Classroom where you can receive and submit your homework and class materials.

For ESL, lots of real-life communication in the class and working vocabulary will quickly boost your communication skills as well as your confidence. Level assessment, understanding your needs, setting achievable goals, support, motivation and control - here is what you can expect from working with me. You will definitely be progressing.

For school students, who want to master their academic skills, there is a special course, which is based on the Ontario/ BC curriculum. You will excel at essay writing, creative writing, sentence fluency, test prep and reading strategies. Literature is integrated into the course to unite the reader's experience with academic writing in order to acquire academic proficiency. Each class will practice your academic vocabulary to make you a better writer.

University preparation.

One-time consultation in case you need to review your writing or have any assistance is available as well. Please let me know the topic in advance. (concealed information)

The kids will love the exciting atmosphere and engaging assignments that make them love English and be successful at school. Interactive games, videos, creative writing, vocabulary, reading and grammar.

If you're preparing for your IELTS/CELPIP exam or test, you will always find a variety of useful tips and strategies to ace your test. You will have home assignments, and I will identify your gaps, help you fix those and teach you how to use your class time effectively. I will also supervise your home assignments in order to track your progress as well as motivate you.
In the test preparation classes, you not only work on the test strategies but also improve your English level.
