About Martha
As I have traveled extensively throughout places in the world where English is not the first language, I understand the necessity of learning to read, write, and speak English. I am able to develop a program to meet your needs and goals. As a born teacher I have worked with my peers and assisted them in learning the joys of speaking and writing English. Every person I have worked with has complimented my teaching style.

I was born and raised in the United States and have lived in numerous regions of the country. I have a Bachelor's degree in sociology and a Master's degree in psychology. I am fluent in English (both written and oral), and I have developed a program that will allow you to speak and write English in a short period of time. I also have developed a program for accent reduction. I am a teacher who understands how to get the best results. I will develop a program that is customized to meet your needs.

Please note that my rates vary. My travel for lessons is limited. My lessons will be at a Starbucks location in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles or online via Skype.
My rates are as follows:
Consultation-$65.00
Reading and writing- $50.00
Conversational-$65.00
Accent reduction with conversation-$75.00
Editing written work- $100.00 per hour
