About Ayaan

I am a Western Music Piano Major and an active film composer with practical experience working on short films and creative projects. My journey in music began with classical piano training, and over the years I have expanded into composition, harmony, and cinematic storytelling through sound.

Beyond performing, I am deeply interested in understanding how music works — structurally, emotionally, and artistically. This analytical yet expressive approach shapes both my composing and my teaching.

I believe in disciplined growth. Technique, clarity, and consistency are essential — but so is individuality. Every student has a unique musical voice, and my role is to help refine and strengthen it.

Teaching allows me to pass forward the knowledge and training I have received, while continuing to grow as a musician myself. I approach each lesson with professionalism, patience, and high standards.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, goal-oriented and tailored to each student’s level and ambition. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for graded examinations, or an intermediate player looking to deepen musical understanding, I design a clear path forward.

A typical class includes technical development (scales, exercises, touch control), repertoire work, and strong focus on musical interpretation. I emphasise understanding harmony and structure so students don’t just play notes they understand the music.

For students interested in composition or film scoring, I also introduce creative exercises, thematic development, and practical knowledge of how music supports storytelling.

I teach both children and adults. Beginners build a solid foundation, while advanced students refine expression, tone and artistic confidence.

Lessons are conducted online with a professional setup to ensure clear audio and effective learning.

My goal is not just to teach pieces but to develop musicianship.
