Teaching Methodology and Techniques

The "Why" Before the "How": Before diving into equations or formulas, I always start by explaining the core concepts and real-world applications. This helps students grasp the purpose behind what they're learning, making the information more relevant and easier to retain.
Targeted Practice: We don't just do endless problem sets. I identify the specific areas where a student is struggling and create custom exercises that target those weaknesses. This ensures our time is spent efficiently and effectively.
The Socratic Method: I frequently ask questions that guide the student to the answer themselves rather than just giving it to them. This helps them develop critical thinking skills and the confidence to solve problems independently.
Analogies and Visuals: I use simple analogies and diagrams to simplify difficult topics. For example, when teaching circuits, I might compare electricity to water flowing through pipes to illustrate concepts like voltage and current.
