About Corbin
I am uniquely qualified to tutor ACT prep because I have personally improved from a low 20s score to the top 1% of all test takers (34 ACT). I have also doubled my ACT English score and achieved a perfect score in ACT Science. Most importantly, I have taken the ACT within the last year, so my strategies are current, relevant, and aligned with the enhanced ACT format. Unlike many tutors who rely solely on theory, I teach from recent personal experience of what it feels like to be stuck at a score plateau and how to break through it.
Sessions are one-on-one and conducted directly with me, either as a 30-minute focused mini-session or a full 60-minute session depending on student needs and budget. Each student receives a personalized training plan, a detailed score breakdown, and last-minute strategies I wish I had when I first took the ACT. My goal is to help every student perform at the highest level they are capable of, whether this is their first attempt or final retake.

My tutoring approach focuses on efficient, high-impact ACT score improvement rather than memorization alone. I break down each section of the ACT into repeatable strategies that students can consistently apply under time pressure. During sessions, I identify weak points, teach targeted methods to fix them, and guide students through real ACT-style problems to reinforce understanding. I also provide structured practice plans so students can continue improving outside of sessions. My goal is to build a repeatable system that has worked for me and helped my students reach top 1% test scores.
