About Piper
Hello! I’m a dedicated violin tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have successfully guided around 150 students on their musical journeys, helping them develop their skills and passion for music. My teaching philosophy centers around creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
I focus on building strong foundations in technique and music theory while making lessons enjoyable and engaging. I believe in celebrating every achievement, no matter how small, to keep students motivated. Many of my students have gone on to perform in recitals and join school orchestras, showcasing their talent and hard work. Together, we can unlock your potential and foster a lifelong love for the violin!

As a violin tutor, my teaching approach focuses on **empathy**, **problem-solving**, and **motivation**. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, so I take the time to understand their individual needs and goals. With **empathy**, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing their challenges and achievements.
When facing difficulties, I use **problem-solving** techniques to break down complex concepts, making learning easier and more enjoyable. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically about their playing.
**Motivation** is key to my lessons. I inspire students by celebrating their progress and setting achievable goals. In addition to violin, I can also teach viola, cello, and erhu, helping students explore different string instruments and deepen their musical understanding. Together, we will nurture your passion for music and develop your skills!
