About Lyrica

Hi! I’m Lyrica, a GCSE student in my final year who loves playing and teaching piano. I enjoy working with young beginners and helping them discover the joy of music in a fun and relaxed way. Teaching is something I’m really passionate about, and I hope to be a teacher for life, inspiring students to grow their confidence, skills, and love for learning. I’m patient, friendly, and excited to share music with every student I meet!

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Lyrica, and I’m a GCSE student with over 10 years of piano experience and 2–3 years of private teaching experience. I teach young beginners, aged 5–12, helping them build confidence, good technique, and a love for music from the start. My lessons are fun, structured, and adapted to each child’s pace, using short pieces, simple games, and clear weekly goals to keep students motivated while developing strong musical foundations. I’ve worked with children for several years through private teaching and babysitting, and I always aim to create a calm, encouraging learning environment. Lessons are online, flexible around school hours, and suitable for complete beginners. For local students, in-person lessons may also be available, and sessions are typically 30–60 minutes long, depending on the student’s age and focus. I’m passionate about teaching and aspire to be a teacher for life, sharing my love of music with every student I work with.
